Default Table automatically breaking

My multi-page table is adamantly breaking across pages through no fault of my
own, leaving large (sometimes half a page) margin at the bottom. There are
no page breaks shown in either "Normal" view or "show formatting marks."

I'd like to be able to fill a page without Word seemingly reandomly deciding
to start a new table on the next page.
