i have a table set up which is about 6 pages. I follow the instruction of
working with elaborate headers and footers. The number are on the page but
will not print out. The only thing that prints is {PAGE}. NO NUMBER

Press Alt+F9 to toggle between field codes (what you're seeing now) and
field results (the numbers).
