I am merging numbers from Excel into a Word document. When merged, there is
a space after each number (123,456 ). There is not an extra space in the Word merge doc. before nor after the merge field, nor is there a space after the number in the Excel worksheet. For the numbers that are supposed to show as negative numbers, the mergefield is between beginning parenthesis and end parenthesis (mergefield 2). Because of the extra space, when merged there is a space before the end parenthesis. How do I fix this? -- Blanco |

Hi ?B?YmxhbmNv?=,
I am merging numbers from Excel into a Word document. When merged, there is a space after each number (123,456 ). Which version of Word is involved, here? Did you choose a data connection method, or let Word use its default?
