Default Using arrows as table border lines

Is is possible to do this, or is the work around similar to Luc's answer to
Ann Stough question regarding rounded corners?

Thanks.

The Borders and Shading dialog box doesn't give you an option to add arrows
as borders. You can use AutoShapes, but not that it will be inconvenient.
