Default Line at bottom of page

I have a document that is in a table. There is only one row, but the the
amount of text in the row make the document 5 pages long (I won't bother you
with why it needs to be in a one-row table). I have shaded the two columns of
the table. On the screen everything looks fine, but when it prints either to
the printer or to Acrobat, I get a broad line across the bottom of the page.
It even cuts the text off on some pages.

On the screen, on the right side, where there is a "box" that shows your
margins, I see my bottom margin, but I then see another "box" just above it
that is where this line must be coming from. I can't figure it out to save
my life. I've even started all over with a new document and new table and it
shows up again!

I've read the other questions that seemed similar to this. I did start this
document in Word 2000, but then moved it to Word 2002 when I heard some other
people's problems disappearred in 2002.

I would love suggestions!

Kathy

Check your footer to make sure that the footer margin is less than the
bottom margin and that the footer paragraph doesn't have a top border or a
drawing line anchored to it.
