Default How do I stop the bolding of a Table caption in the List of Tables

I have a large table, and I have put the Table caption in the first row of
the table so that the caption will show on every page along with the column
headings. When the caption was put in the first row of the table, it did not
maintain the Caption style settings, so I modified the text to have the
Caption style headings - namely Arial 10 and Bold.

Now when I create a List of Tables, that table caption shows up Bold in the
list of tables unlike the other references. I don't want to have to unbold it
every time I update the List of Tables, but I also want the caption in the
table to be bold. So what do I need to do so that the reference does not show
up bold in the List of Tables?

Thanks

Nevermind. What I thought I had tried yesterday that didn't work (re-applying
the Caption style) did work today, so I must have messed up yesterday.

What you have discovered is what we would have told you: when the formatting
is applied by a style, the TOC will not pick it up. When it is applied as
direct formatting, then it will be picked up by the TOC. In this case, the
Caption style will evidently suffice, but you could also define and apply a
Table Title style.
