Unprotect individual pages in MS Word
Is it possible to have a large document protected (so it cannot be edited),
but allow certain pages to still be edited, ie. excluded from the protection. I write Safety Systems for companies, and have had a request to leave the MSDS Register unprotected so it can be edited in the customers office. Thanks, Rob |

What version of Word do you use? It is possible in Word 2003.

You can protect a document as a whole or on a section basis. Some formatting options will not be present even in unprotected sections, though. Best look up "protection" in your offline help.
