how to clear auto format lines
When I hold down shift and use the hyphen key to make a short line,
autoformat makes it a line across the page. THEN I cannot get rid of that line. Please help! |

The AutoFormat converts your line into a paragraph border. To remove it, you have to select the paragraph above the border and use the Borders and Shading dialog to select None.
