auto update of links
Hi Al,
The automatic update of links radio button is greyed out even though it is not locked by my observation. I'm trying to update from a *txt file. WHERE do you see this button, and in which version of Word? In a general sort of way, text files linked using an IncludeText field (Insert/File with link) should update automatically, all the time. There have been some new security measures since Word 2002 SP-1, however, that can result in deactivating link updates.
