My Dell notebook runs on Windows XP. How do I read a word doc written with

If your computer has Word/Office 97 or later installed, then you
can open the Word document with the version of Word that you currently have. If your computer does not have Word/Office 97 or later installed, and if the Word document does not contain complex formatting, then you can probably open it with WordPad (which comes with Windows XP). foxer04 wrote: My Dell notebook runs on Windows XP. If you do not have any version of Word installed, you can download the Word
viewer from http://office.microsoft.com/download...wd97vwr32.aspx. This will allow you to read and print (but not edit) Word documents. -- Suzanne S.
