Default Format labels

How can I format simple 2 X 4 labels that are different to print on a page of
labels? WordPerfect is very simple but I can't seem to find a similar process
in Word. Logically, it should be under Format...Labels. Word is not logical
sometimes.

Default Format labels

Tools | Letters and Mailings | Envelopes and Labels. Click Options and
select the label stock number, then click New Document in the Labels dialog.
They're formatted as a table, so be sure you have table gridlines displayed
(Table | Show Gridlines) so you can see the label boundaries.
