Default AutoText, how do I add the SaveDate function to the AutoText list.

In the footer of my WORD documents I like to use the SaveDate function
(Insert/Field/SaveDate/Options...SAVEDATE\@"M/d/yyyy".
How can I add this to AutoText so it will appear in the Insert Auto Text
pulldown?

Create the field in the footer of a document, select the field, press
Alt+F3, and give it a name.

See http://www.word.mvps.org/faqs/custom...n/AutoText.htm.

Create the field, format the paragraph containing it using the header or
footer style. Then save it as an AutoText entry using the name you want.
