Default Office 2000 in Vista crashes

Whenever I try to save or print a document in Word, Excel, or Publisher, the
program crashes and I get the error "Microsoft ____ has stopped working." I'm
running Vista Home Premium on a Gateway computer. I tried re-installing
Office 2000 but that did nothing.

Re-installing rarely achieves anything as it fails to address the causes of
crashes. See http://www.gmayor.com/what_to_do_when_word_crashes.htm then
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErrors/...artingWord.htm or
