Splitting tables by column - not by row?
Hello all - I hope someone can help.
I need to import tables with many columns into Word. Could be from various applications - Excel, Crystal Reports, etc. Is there any way that the table can be automatically split vertically when it runs into the text boundary at the right-hand side of the page, and forcing the remainder of the table onto the next page. And then, if necessary, repeating this process on this next page, etc, until all the table has been accommodated. A large table might be spread automatically over quite a few pages in this way. Many thanks. Roger Howes. |

Roger,
To the best of my knowledge splitting tables vertically can't be done automatically. You will have to cut and paste I'm afraid. Luc "Roger Howes" schreef in bericht ...
