Hi dt,

AutoCorrect:
Your autocorrect entries are stored in an username.acl file. The location
of this file is stored in the registry (Start | Run... | type regedit | OK)
In the registry editor, search (Edit | Find...) the text .acl. Clear the
Keys and Values boxes. When you find the location of the file, check whether
the file exists in this location.
Caution: do not change anything in the registry.

AutoText:
Which AutoText entries are visible, depends on what is selected in Insert |
AutoText AutoText... | Look in:. The preferred setting is "All active
templates".

Good luck,
Cooz

Formatted autocorrect entries and autotext entries are stored in normal.dot.
If they are not being saved, something is inhibiting the saving of
normal.dot. This is usually caused by a poorly written add-in and the worst
offender is Acrobat 7. See the last section of

From the FAQ:

28. I can't save my customizations - AutoText, menus, etc.
Can't save normal.dot...
If you have Adobe Acrobat 7 installed see the last section of
http://www.gmayor.com/lose_that_adob...at_toolbar.htm.
Otherwise, hold down the Shift key when selecting the File
menu and select Save All.
See also http://www.adobe.com/support/techdocs/331259.html.

Hope this helps,
