I would like the default to be 0.00 for all sides

I think the smallest margins you can have are 0.17

Default How do I change the default margins on text boxes in word 2003?

Set the margins to 0", close the Format Text Box dialog, right-click on the
text box, and choose Set AutoShape Defaults. If you want this to be the
default for all new documents, you'll need to do it in Normal.dot; see
