Save document without links
I have a long document where I have used different heading styles and have
had word create the TOC for me. I need to submit the document without any automatic formatting (so the TOC could be cut and pasted somewhere else without any change to the page numbers). Can I save the document "as is," so it will look like it does now but not retain any links? |

Save document without links
You can unlink the TOC using Ctrl+Shift+F9.
