Default Skips Page Number

I have a 70 page word doc that has the page number in the footer of each
page. It skips three page numbers in the doc? It goes from page 58 to 61.
Does anyone know what might be happening?

Thanks.

Is there a section break between pages 58 and 61?

View the document in Normal view. If there is a section break, it will be
very obvious, as it will look like:

Yes, there are several Section Breaks through out the doc. I'm not reall
familiar with section breaks. What should I do with them? Do I add more,
remove some?

Thanks.

Assuming they are there for a reason, you don't need to do either. In the
section where the page number begins with 61, View | Header and Footer.
Click Format Page Number on the Header and Footer toolbar and select
"Continue from previous section."
