Word AutoCorrect doesn't work after punctuation - fix it.
In Word/AutoCorrect I added:
Replace (two right angle brackets) With » (Right Guillmets), and Replace (two left angle brackets) With « (Left Guillmets) If I type (or ) after a punctuation mark the substitution does not happen. I think it would be great if this could be fixed. ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes. I also have these AutoCorrect entries and find that they don't work very
reliably. If you are working in a language (French?) in which these are required, you'll find that Word inserts them automatically (as "smart quotes") when you change the language of the selection to French. -- Suzanne S.
