Default Word document has grayed out section down the side of paper, but .

Does the document contain markup (tracked changes or comments)? If so, Word
is allowing margin space for the "balloons."

My Word document that I have saved, when I open it, there is a grayed out
section along the right hand side of it, all the way down my paper. I
can't
enter in this, or delete it.

I have my view set as the Print Layout view, and when I open a new
document,
this is the correct view. When I open my saved document, it puts that
grayed
out space on my paper again.

I have copied and pasted my information into a new document, but the
section
on the right hand side shows again. How do I remove this? Why is this
happening?

Also, I am unable to send documents by email. That option is grayed out.
Any ideas how to change that?
