Unwieldy documents
Can anyone offer any guidance with regard to a MS Word problem we are having
please? Essentially our customer is creating a relatively large document rich in graphics, tables, styles and formatting. The document appears to become unwieldy rather quickly and formatting is lost. The file size grows substantially and whilst most of the file size can be attributed to the embedded objects, the file does appear over-sized and can force the processor to run at 100%. The user has been unable to reproduce the 100% cpu utilisation which is shame as I have used some performance counters to monitor and catch such. Has anyone got any ideas please? |
