Default Cannot open Word 2007 Document in Word 2003

I am trying to open a Word Document created in Word 2007. I have Word 2003 on
my machine. I installed SP-3 and the FileFormatConverter.exe download. When I
open the file, a File conversion dialog box appears. Is there anyway to
convert this file?

I have the same problem. Can anyone help? The File Conversion dialog box
gives dozens of options but none of them work for me.

If you are seeing the File Conversion dialog box in Word 2003 then you don't
have the converter installed. Did you double-click FileFormatConverter.exe
after you downloaded it in order to install the converters?

Yes I did double-click FileFormatConverter.exe and got the resultant message
"Compatability Pack for the 2007 Office System - the installation is
complete", but still when I try to open the 2007 document in 2003 all I get
is the "File conversion - test" box,and none of the selected options lets me
read the file.
