i have typed my document and it is set to print in portrait view. how do i
set it to print in landscape view?

Hello. You need to set the printer properties for that one doc to landscape.
Instructions very from printer to printer so I'm assuming you know how to do
this. Hope that helps.

FilePage Setup...

Use Search in the Word Help to look for "Landscape" for instructions
specific to your version of Word. If you tell us your version of Word and
Windows we can answer exactly.

If you want the document to be landscape, you need to change this setting on
the Margins or Paper Size tab of Page Setup.

Go to File\Page Setup\Paper Size (tab) and select landscape. Hit OK.
