Default Word 2007 Mouse not Recognized

All at once I cannot use the mouse in the body of a document. The mouse
works fine pointing to tool bar items, etc., but simply has no effect when I
try to use it in a document. This is a sudden, new development -- the mouse
worked fine previously. Am using Windows Vista Home Premium.

Sudden development follow what?

Laserfiche, Paperport add-ins and IBM Tracker Universal Scrolling are all
know conflicts causing this symptom and there are probably other third party
utilities that cause the same bug.

Terry - In response to your response -- the mouse worked fine one day and not the next. I don't believe I installed any new programs between the two events. In any event, Word 2007 is essentially useless to me unless I can somehow resolve this problem. Al

Al

As I said, Laserfiche, Paperport add-ins and IBM Tracker Universal Scrolling
are know conflicts: there are probably others that we haven't IDed yet.
