I just noticed that drag & drop is not working on my Vista 64 bit with Word
2007. I've tried several documents including a new document. I highlight the
text, then left-click and drag to the desired location, as soon as I start to
drag I see a circle with a line through it. I can drag & drop in my other
office applications. Also in word I can cut and paste without issue.

Hi, if you click on the Office Button, then click on Word Options, click on
Advanced, and look in the €œEditing options€� section, is the box for €œAllow
text to be dragged and dropped€� checked? If its not, check it. That might
solve the problem.

Are any dialog boxes open, such as Insert Cross Reference? Several of
those keep D'n'D from working.
