i dont have a send mail icon, i have no way of sending e mails, how do i get

Have you looked in "customizing" the toolbar? What version of Word?

Set up Outlook (or Outlook Express) to send email, not Word. Get the correct
settings from your Internet Provider.

Did you actually *read* the original post? the OP says he hasn't got a
"Send mail" icon in Word!

Sheeesh!

This could very well be because no default email client is configured.
