Hi

We are using Word 2k3 on one of our very large documents it adds many
headers in twice.

I have tried deleting and retyping the headers and then re-inserting the TOC
with no luck.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

This can happen if you have a manual page break before the heading. Instead
of using a manual page break, format the heading (or the heading style, if
this is consistent) as "Page break before."
