how do i delete a document from microsoft word 2007.
i couldnt delete it by going to the save as button nor the open button. is there another way to delete documents? if so, specifically how? thanks. |

You can delete documents in Windows Explorer, just like any other file.

If you want to delete a Word 2007 document from your computer, in either the
Save as or Open dialog box, you can right click on the file and choose delete. If you want to delete a document from the recently used files list on the Office Button, click the Office button, click the Word Options button, and click Advanced in the list to the left. Scroll down to the display section and change the Show this number of Recent Documents: to 0 and click OK to remove all of your recent files from the list. If you leave it at zero, no more will be added. If you want to display from now on, good back to Display options and reset the number as desired. If you meant something other than one of those, please give more info...
