Default My blank page isn't blank when I open a new page

For some reason my blank page that opens for a new Word document has text on
it and i don't know how to get it off. I have tried to delete the text and
save as - but it just creates new documents that are saved as Document1,
Document2, ect....

It is the same text (a fax cover sheet) - I just have no idea why it saved
itself as a new document.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!
