Hi,
I have an HP 6500 which is able to print to edge and it is setup to do so.It works well when printing from other programs but not from word that puts a wjite edge 0,32 mm around the paper. Anyone who knows a way to have word printing to the edge? Thanks Ole |

The limits of the print area in Word are set by the printer driver. If the
printer is capable of printing to the edge as you indicate, there will probably be a setting in the driver (probably relating to photograph printing) that allows it to do so. This is not something controlled by Word. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org "Ole" wrote in message ... The printer setting are set to 'print to edge' and the margins are set to 0.
There are absolutely no problems when printing from Excel with exactly the same settings. I don't think the printer driver is able to distinguish between word and excel so th eproblem must be located in word! Thanks Ole "Graham Mayor" skrev i meddelelsen ... It doesn't mean that at all. Word interrogates the printer driver to
determine what page settings it can apply. It doesn't matter what you set in Word, if the current driver configuration does not allow printing to the edge (and unless you have it set up for printing photographs it almost certainly will not) then Word will not print to the edge of the paper. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org "Ole" wrote in message ... Have you tried a photo setting? That is the only way I can get edge to edge
