If you don't want to use mail merge, don't use it. Start typing.

You can create a blank label document from the envelope label tool by
using the 'new document' option in the label dialog, but if you have more than one page of labels to produce, or some of your friends are likely to move, or die, or no longer be worthy of Christmas acknowledgement, a hard copy label list is soon going to become impractical. ![]() Save your names and addresses in Outlook and for those who get a Christmas card, add an Xmas category (you can add categories of your making to those on offer). Then when the time comes to produce labels again, filter the view to display only those of the Xmas category and merge from Outlook. http://www.gmayor.com/mailmerge_from_outlook.htm and http://www.gmayor.com/mail_merge_lab...th_word_xp.htm If you don't have Outlook, save the names and addresses in the columns of a table - like that at http://www.gmayor.com/convert_labels...mail_merge.htm -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org waveydavey wrote: I want to make address labels for xmas cards, save as word doc for future and ptrint on L7160 labels (Idon't want to do a mail merge!)
