How do I modify footnotes so numbering starts over each chapter?
I copied my thesis to WORD 2003 from another application. Now I want the
footnotes to start at 1 with each new chapter. How can I do this without re-entering them all? Thanks. PAUL |

Insert a continuous section break before each chapter and in footnote and
endnote dialog box for numbering dropdown select "Restart each section" you might click on each section and change the continuous numbering to restart each section for all sections.
