Default flashing text timer

In a table, I would like the text to flash when entered or changed, then to
become static after 5 minutes. Any suggestions please ?

There's certainly no direct way to achieve that in Word.

You'd probably want to use a character style set to one of those nasty
text effects (marching red ants or some such thing) and use a macro to
apply it, or to change it's properties from flashing to normal after a
certain amount of time (or toggle it each time the user enters/leaves
the table).

If you want to persue this, I suggest you consult one of the .vba
newsgroups.

Greetings
Robert
