Hyperlink
Does anyone know how to create a hyperlink to open a new document based on a
template I have created. The hyperlink I created just opens the actual template, which is not what I need. Thankyou |

Hyperlink
The default action of hyperlinks is to open a document or other file. There
is no way (that I know of) to change the action to "New," which is what would be required. -- Suzanne S. I've never tried this with a hyperlink in _Word_ itself, but with hyperlinks from Internet or more often Intranet pages, what usually works is to create a shortcut to the template and point the hyperlink to that.
