I would like to print text in a normal word manner (no tables or labels) I
would like to have this print with a grid background. I know how to turn the
grid on, but not how to make it print.

I can't help you with your question, but we suddenly have a grid background
and don't know how to get it to go away. Can you help me?

To make the grid disappear, display the Drawing toolbar, click Draw Grid,
and uncheck the option for displaying the grid on screen.

This grid is nonprinting. Probably the easiest way to make a printable grid
is to make a table, turn on all its borders in Format Borders & Shading,
and set the row and column sizes to exact measurements.
