Default Drag text through Document Map

Idea i just had & thought might already exist:
In the same way you can drag an icon up through the startbar menu to become
a shortcut in the folder of your choice, include in Word the ability to drag
text from one location in a document to another via the document map, rather
than copy/pasting and/or scrolling.

While i've got my sugesstion hat on, could you please sort out the interface
for the user customisability for the formatting styles? The thing is a
nightmare. A simple 'desktop settings' style Themes for each option (inc.
'make new style' for user) and an Outlook 'Field Chooser' dropdown tickbox
for the formatting options available, would work wonders.

Cheers,

Default Drag text through Document Map

I doubt you will ever be able to drag text through the Document Map, but you
can in Outline View. See here--I think it will be very close to what you
suggest.

Also, much better to post a separate suggestion, as people can vote on them.

Default Drag text through Document Map

Hi Daiya

I doubt you will ever be able to drag text through the Document Map,

But I agree with Dez93: I wish I could drag items in the Document Map around
as I can in Outline View. I can't tell you the number of times I've found
myself trying to do that, even though I know it doesn't work!

Well, hey, maybe it'll get a bunch of votes. Never know.
