Default preserving hyperlinks in word documents converted to pdf

I am using office 2003 word to convert a word document to a pdf. my
hyperlinks are not active in the pdf. where do I change this setting?

Default preserving hyperlinks in word documents converted to pdf

You change it in the software that generates your pdf file, which is _not_
Microsoft Word.

Which means that you would change it in Acrobat? If so, how?
