Default how do i insert a sequence of numbers in a table?

i'm trying to put together a schedule and calendar, and i need to know how to
insert a sequence of numbers without having to type them all in manually. In
WordPerfect, I used to put in two or three numbers (or dates, or times),
selected the remaining cells, and hit "quickfill." there doesn't seem to be
anything like that in Word, though---Is there?

There isn't. You may be able to use my DateSequencer AddIn for this
purpose.

The SEQ field comes to mind. Otherwise Excel would probably do a better job
at this for you.
