Default Why do borders get added to a table when pasting to a new doc?

In one document I have a table with no borders. When I a new document
and paste this table, borders are added to the table. Is it possible to
prevent this?

Thanks for your help

Usually this results from the default Table AutoFormat being different in
the new doc.
