Default Word 2002 SP3 loses connection datasources

After working without fail for several years, my Word document now cannot
remember its data source (Access 2002 SP3). On further testing, a new Word
doc will not remember any other data source either (Excel file, .txt file).

Any tips on how to fix this?

Thanks,
Andrea

Has this problem occured specifically following the update to SP3?

Or did you install SP3, then everything worked for a while, then the problem
occured?
