How do I compile a barchart on windows XP?

Using a program to do it. Excel is good at this for most purposes. However,
this is a newsgroup about using tables in Microsoft Word. I wouldn't use
tables in Word to complete a bar chart.

In Word, choose Insert | Object... | tab Create New | Microsoft Graph Chart.
