Default Switching form left to full justification in bulletted text

Hi,

I sometimes need to switch from left to full justification in a
bulletted text.

The problem is, in some case, the last line of a paragraph becomes for
instance:
__________________________________________________ ____________
"the problem is not solved".
__________________________________________________ ____________

I have tried to find what causes this behavior, which I suspect is
related to the bullet formatting since I have never encountered the same
problem in other cases.

To correct this, I must go to the end of the paragraph, enter two hard
returns and moving the cursor between the two paragraphs, hit Delete twice.

This is obviously cumbersome on a long document. Any ideas how to
correct this in a more astute manner?

Thanks

Seems as if you have a line break (Shift+Enter) character in each of
the affected paragraphs. If you are using the line break to add
un-bulleted text between bullets, you may not want to remove it.
Instead, you can check the "Don't expand character spaces on the line
ending Shift-Return" option in Tools | Options, Compatibility tab.

Note that you can click the ¶ button on the Standard toolbar to see
nonprinting characters. For more, see
http://word.mvps.org/faqs/formatting/NonPrintChars.htm.

Thanks Stefan. Actually, I found this is a text wrapping break as
described in the mvp site.

If there a way I can search and replace such a break by a regular
paragraph break? It does not seem to appear in the "special" list for
search.

Correcting this situation as suggested in Compatibility did help me
solve the problem, but I am still curious.

Best regards

In the Find and Replace dialog box, ^l seems to find text-wrapping
breaks as well as line breaks.
