when do you use [sic]
sic . \'sik\ adverb [Latin] (circa 1859): intentionally so written - used
after a printed word or passage to indicate that it is exactly as printed or to indicate that it exactly reproduces an original (Ex. Tom said he seed [sic] it all). -- Greg Maxey/Word MVP See: http://gregmaxey.mvps.org/word_tips.htm For some helpful tips using Word. we're in love with Jeffrey Dahmer wrote: when do you use this symbol [sic]? |
