First, thanks to all of you MVPs for your invaluable answers and articles. I
am much more sane because of them. Now need help putting some pieces together.

I am working on creating a template that will probably be a combination of
form fields and nomacro buttons (Thanks especially to you, Dian). I would
also like to have a field of some type that would autoenter the user's ID as
is used in track changes or security when the template is used to create a
new document.

Insert a UserInitials field and check the calculate on exit check box of one
of the form fields to ensure it is updated (unless you intend to put the
field in the header/footer, when you will need a macro to update it).
