Style icon
When I upgraded to Word 2002, I also brought along a style from my Word 97
version. It was a formatting symbol I had included in the normal.dot formatting toolbar. I can use it now if I highlight some text and then click on the formatting symbol on the toolbar. However, it doesn't show up in the style gallery. How do I make that happen? thanks. |

I have never fully understood style visibility but if you open the Styles
Task Pane (Format Styles and Formatting...) and then, in the "Show" dropdown at the bottom, select Custom..., the Format Settings Dialog will be displayed. At the top of this dialogue is a listbox with all your styles, indicating which ones should be visible. Make sure your style is checked. -- Enjoy, Tony "english" wrote in message news When I upgraded to Word 2002, I also brought along a style from my Word 97 version.
