Hi,
Is there anyway that I can insert pictures into a document template that are
automatically resized? If not in word then what about the other Office
programs?

If the pictures are larger than the available width of a (fixed width) table
cell or text box the picture will shrink to match that width. Table cells
and text boxes need not have borders.
