Please describe how to use tables for minutes in Word 2007.
I have been used to Word 2003 using tables to produce 3 columns for minutes
having deleted the gridlines before entering text - how is this created in Word 2007 please? Thanks |

Thanks On the Insert tab of the ribbon, click the Table button and select a 3-column layout. When the table appears, there will also be a couple of new tabs on the ribbon (which are available only when the cursor is in a table) with tools for formatting the table. From that point on, it's exactly the same as in Word 2003. -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org Email cannot be acknowledged; please post all follow-ups to the newsgroup so all may benefit. |

Exactly the same way except that to initially insert a table, the command is
on the Insert Ribbon. Once a table is inserted and you click anywhere on/in the table, the Table menu ribbons open up for all the other options you require. Note that (printable) Borders are on the Design context table ribbon and Hide/View gridlines is on the Layout context ribbon. -- Terry Farrell - MSWord MVP "brockleykate" wrote in message ...
