Default Can I get non-printing guidelines for table borders?

I want to see where the borders of my table and its cells are, but do not
want them to print. Can I do this without having to place and remove borders
as I work?

Show the gridlines for tables: In Word 2003, the option is on the Table
menu. In Word 2007, first click inside a table; then click View Gridlines on
the Table Tools Layout tab of the ribbon.
