Default Address block has spacing between lines-how to cancel spaces

I did a mail merge to a letter from a microsoft word 2007 data base. The
address block in the letters has spaces between the lines. What do I do to
cancel the spaces between lines? Thanks for your help.

The AddressBlock uses a separate paragraph for each element of the address
with those paragraphs being formatted with the paragraph formatting of the
Normal style.

Instead of using the AddressBlock, just insert the individual merge fields
in the configuration that you want them, using Shift+Enter to create each
new line of the address.
