Is it possible that I could pull up two separate documents and somehow merge
them together so they sit side by side so that I could compare each one from
one page?

It is possible to view documents side by side in W2003 & 2007. With two the
documents open

View tab view side-by-side (in W2007)
Window Compare side by side (in W2003)

You can also use document compare to have Word compare and mark differences
between the documents.

See http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/wo...341321033.aspx for help
with W2007.

See http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/wo...889391033.aspx for help with
W2003.

Thank you for your reply Pamelia. When I get a chance, I will try the
things you mention below and report back to let you know how I got on.

Thank you

Wendy

Thank you very much Pam, that worked a treat and is exactly how I imagined
it would be.
